Mine came yesterday. Got the following:

1 - Philips Speaker in black
1 - Philips white single output coaxial wall plate
1 - Slim Vac (can use this to clean my keyboard)
1 - Philips battery and media pouch
1 - unfinished wood box with drawers (going to a friend who does crafts)
2 - Vivitar tripods (nice and sturdy -- keeping one and giving the other to a friend)
1 - Safety flashlight/flashing light/whistle
1 - pink and purple connect picture frame
1 - 5 outlet Power Sentry general purpose surge protector (always handy)
1 - Halo belt buckle

Nice haul! Very happy with this one! Applause

My first Fling. I've been shopping deal-a-day sites for a couple of years, but just discovered this one. I'm always a sucker for a mystery box. Fingers are crossed that this is a good one!

I am completely new to this site. Randomly found it one night when I was staying up too late surfing the web (read: should have been asleep since I have to be at work at 8am). I've been buying from deal sites for a few years now but never knew about this one! The forum option is cool and got me to hang out on the site.
I ordered the speakers in purple, but don't know what to expect. I have not recieved a trackiong number or anything other than the order confirmation email that might help me figure out when to expect them to arrive. Is it normal for items to take some time to ship? I am ok with it, just curious as to when I can start listening to music without headphones Whistle

It can take almost two weeks, from the day you order, until it arrives at your door. Occasionally, they ship Fedex Home Delivery, and that cuts it down quit a bit. Usually though, it takes a week before it gets shipped.

At the top right, there is a 'My Account' link, which you will find a tab to your order history, and it will get updated, and the tracking number will appear. Then you need to wait until Fedex actually has the package in their system. E-mail notifications don't always come out.

I've ordered this deal twice. The speaker is actually pretty good, and unbelievably load for the size. Well worth the price, and the Mystery items are a nice bonus.

This will be my 5th Phillips speaker. The grandkids love these. I use it to boost the sound on my notebook. Hoping for another connecting photo frame. They make an interesting-looking collage. Buy this just for the speaker! (hope for the unfinished drawers-the kids fight over these also. Great for storing their secret treasures) It's wellworth the price, and the speaker will fit in your pocket!!

Tried most of the portable speakers that come up on ThingFling, and these, by far, are the best! Great for my daughter's little mp3 player, so I'm grabbing a pink one (so I can actually use mine again!) Well worth it just for the speakers, but the possibility of getting "shagged" is a bonus! Whistle

I got mine today!!! I ordered 2 of the speakers and got a great assortment of goodies with them...picture tomorrowSmile. I haven't had an almost mystery box with goodies in a long while, mine have just been the almost mystery item, and I had forgotten how much FUN theywereLOL. Almost forgot to post so now to sleep and you will have to wait for the pic....

You would think I am a newbie...posted this on wrong mystery box. Didn't get these yet, got iPhone clock/charger almost mystery box....sorry. But it looks like I have some more nice goodies to look forward to with these. Hope mine come soon!

am i missing something here? i ordered this "almost" mystery box and it arrived today. all i got was the philips portable speaker that was advertised. if thats all i get then where is the mystery? i see older posts from last time this was offered and everybody got more than just the advertised item, why did i only get this 1 thing. it seems a bit misleading to me.

I have also submitted a ticket in regards to my order that also only included the advertised Philips portable speaker.

let me know what you hear from them about this. i'll post an update here when i get it.

Hmmm.... Not a very mystery box at all.
I just got the speakers only.

EDIT: This morning, I'm poking around another daily deal site and they had the same speakers a few days ago for $2.99.
I normally shop around, ALOT, I just wanted to try the mystery box thing... guess I know now and knowing is half the battle.

I also only received the Speaker, in an envelope. Submitted a ticket as well. Looks like there was some sort of an "oops" in shipping this particular "Mystery Box". I wonder how many first time Flingers are going to be turned off of this wonderful site because of this experience... Maybe some sort of announcement regarding what happened/what they are doing to make it right could be in order?

EDIT: Also received a response saying there was an issue with the shipments, and I should be getting my tracking number for the rest of the "mystery" soon! Thanks ThingFling!
