I've never been shagged (that I know of).

My first order was 5 years ago (Feb 2007 - Cross Dual Function Pen) and just placed my 20th last week (the iPhone MB). So, that's an average of 4 flings a year. The wife keeps me in check or I would go crazy.

No official shagging here, but in all the years using this and another similar site, I only have been able to purchase their equivalent once, But it was a definite surprise... I sometimes think there are what I call mini-shaggings without the note and stuff but they throw in a little more into the mystery box.

LOL I need someone like your wife in my life, to keep me in check... I just passed my 4 yr anniversary of my first order Dec 25, 2007. lol I have almost 100 orders Shhh lol

Flings Flung: 40 total orders- Regular items- 22 Orders, 40 items; MB/AMB- 16 orders, 23 MBs/AMBs; 2 Canceled( 1 voluntary, 1 bad batch of Batteries w/ Chargers)
In 9 months of Flings I have already surpassed my purchases of almost 2yrs on that other DOD site where it's nearly impossible to get their mystery 'bag'... lol

Great thoughts here. I usually get the almost mystery boxes for the primary item for myself, but I use all the extras as stocking gifts for my kids. It's fun to watch their faces when they open them up and give you this weird look, like, what the h--- is this? Love it Wink

I have been buying from thing fling since 2007, with over 150 purchases and that's not including the fact that many were multiple items. My first purchase was Mystery box VII and I bought two of them. I have been officially shagged a couple of times but what you remember the most are the many everyday deals you receive. Thing fling has been my goto happy place a lotSmile I had to take a 'sabbatical' a couple of times...like when we were building a house or when I was ill but I ALWAYS come back. That is what thing fling is...a home to return to. LOL. Shagging is great but not necessary. Like most have said you get more than you pay for almost all the time. Sometimes an almost mystery box has 'packing' that is leftovers etc and sometimes it's just the item listed. Haven't figured that one out yet but I still get them.....and probably always will when I can.

Have never been shagged, defrauded or cheated by any Deal of the Day site. Everything I've purchased from ThingFling has always arrived satisfactory, usually earlier than anticipated and exactly as described. I purchase from these sites often.

I must confess I'm a tad disappointed in the shipping speed. I placed my first order on the 16th. It's still listed as "processing" some 11 days later. I placed a second order on the 17th, it arrived on the 22nd. That wasn't too bad. I have a third order I placed on the 21st that's still 'processing'. Granted the deals are still quite good, and slower shipping is a small compromise for that, IMO. I think the second order (the one that I actually received) still said "processing" up until I actually received it, then it said 'shipping' even though it had already reached it's destination. So it's a little frustrating not knowing if it's actually in transit (and maybe fedex is the one lollygagging or worse). And I'm soooo impatient as is Razz

I have been a fan of this site for quite some time now and have never been shagged. Actually never even heard of it until browsing through the forum. Does getting shagged mean extra goodies with your order? Would love to hear more.

WHEN SHE ASKED DOES ONLY NEW CUSTOMERS GET SHAGGED, I DONT THINK SHE MEANT THAT IN A GOOD WAY, SHE MAY HAVE MEANT DO THEY GET TAKEN.. I THINK I DID. THEY GOT MY MONEY, NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. NO PRODUCT EITHER. ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS.
