My "Back to Work" MB finally arrived yesterday (the PO lost it) so I'm in for this.

Hopefully, it will arrive with my flashlights.

Hopefully it will be a BIG box so our mailman can't "misplace" it.

Love the anticipation!

Hey, any advice for me, or anyone listening from TF? I tried to order one, but forgot to add my coupon code, so I stupidly hit the back button. Now it won't let me order, saying I have ordered the maximum of this item. I checked in MY FLINGS and it isn't in there.

HEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!

Thanks,

Wait 25 minutes and your failed order will roll back to unpaid and you'll be able to order again.

We're looking at options to "pick up" where you left off on those types of orders.

Hi Thing Fling friends!

I have been MIA for a while. I have been really busy helping Texas Equusearch - a missing persons search and rescue group, with hurricane Ike victims and also when they were in Orlando searching for little Caylee Anthony.

I am sooooo ready for some EXCITEMENT so I am in for this latest MB!

Thanks for the email Thing Fling!!

Mine was the 30th of Sept, so this is my birthday present to myself (a shagging would be magical!). Plus, I had a coupon that was fixing to expire.

I and my husband have been suckers and bought these mystery boxes. And sure you get more than $13 worth of crap. No complaints about worth. They indeed deliver more than what you could buy the items for.... BUT do you need these items? Are they something you'd buy normally? Do you have uses for these things?

In all of the oh say 7 to 10 Mystery boxes we bought.. I can't narrow the nimber down just to be honest. But things like keychain lights, mini tool kits, misc computer items if you wanted you'd buy. misc toys, tools, electronics.

Would I buy most of this stuff normally? No
Is it something I need normally? No
Is it "high quality" merchandise, the kind I'd buy if I were looking for the item?
If I were looking for cheap yet useful but not wanting the best. Yes I'd buy it.
If I were looking for the best, long lasting quality items. No

On other boards they call these mystery packages Bags of Crap

And if you're looking to waste $20 =- on something to buy. By all means take a chance.
Do you think you'll end up with a big screen TV or IPod, or some $100+ electronics gadget.. Well. I have never heard of anything but "Yes I got more than "price paid" And I can use "this gadget" but the rest will be Xmas stocking stuffers"

I tell you. Except for the original "Bag of Crap" nothing compares.

I won't name the site. But for the most part. Yes, you get exactly whats advertised

And we use about one or two items from these Mystery Boxes.

The rest we wish we had more family because we have boxes full of "Stocking stuffers or CRAP"

Thing fling. I love some of your goodies. And I spend way too much here Smile

But your Mystery Boxes... well.. I stopped wasting money in this economy on "a hope and a chance"
I still buy $5 a week in lottery tickets. I still buy your items...

BUT I STOPPED BUYING MYSTERY BOXES

I can no longer afford things I "might" need. I buy what I DO need here

I hope I haven't offended Thing Fling or any hopefuls.. I drank my 2 cups of coffee and it

Was time to speak my thoughts

Merry XMAS to all my family. I have a bunch of Mystery items Wink

And to all Flingers BEST OF LUCK I hope you win something good..

Hey Thing Fling. Throw in a couple of Lottery Tickets.

If we won, you'd get the percentage that sellers get! Smile

Just an idea Wink

not really limited to this particular sale, but does anyone else get the feeling that the thingfling descriptions are translated from another language or just poorly written? you'd think they would pay the extra $$ to hire someone with at least half the talent of the woot writers. otherwise...

in for a mystery box!

oh....Lottery tickets! Cherokee! That would be great...one scratch off in each box! How cool would THAT be if one of us hit the jackpot on one of them!

Oh please toss in a scratch off lottery ticket in my boxes!! Winning ones of course! Pray

BTW....Halloween is coming...a perfect time to get rid of all your unwanted mystery items...I'm giving them to all the little trick or treaters this year...especially cell phone lights and Ipod stuff since I don't have an Ipod. No left over candy for me to be tempted by and....MY house is going to be the "GOOD HOUSE" this year! Bad Grin

Thank you for the idea of dumping these things we don't use!

Halloween stuffers for future nerds and geeks. Very Happy

Well, some of these things will go over. Some are unsuitable for children.

And I don't want to be sued for lead poisonining. Since 90% of these tidbits are from China ;}

Happy Halloween Flingers.

Yeah..true..I beginning to think we're at war with China..but we just don't know it yet..and they're winning by passive agressivly killing us via product distribution! oye!

I guess if we just check out the kiddies ages as we give them out...we can pick and choose who gets what then..I'll probably get some candy that I absolutely hate like gummy crap to give to the really small ones...they like gummy crap. I get alot of very stoned teenagers around here though...so...I'm thinking little flashy led lights might be somewhat of a treat for them since they'll have a bag full of munchies already! Bad Grin

Shag me baby!!!! Lord knows I could sure use one!!! lol

Have a great day!
